Ally (goodreadscomuser_allhug) Is that his own home? - Oh - I'd love a library like that at home. - I always quite liked the idea of having a roaring fire with some wing-backed chairs and a load of cram packed bookshelves. Heaven.

Ally

I just read a few of his books the last couple of months. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed them. Dark but innocent. He's a very talented author. Both Coraline and The Graveyard Book were great. (don't watch the movie read the book!)

message 14: by Leora (new)

Leora Oh wow-it's gorgeous!

Jackie (findingjackie) | 214 comments I'm sort of in awe over library. But I heart Neil Gaiman.

If I ever won the lotto, I'd have a room like that, kitty and all.

message 16: by Brittany (new)

Brittany (missbrittany) | 336 comments wow, i wonder if he has read them all.

message 17: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (findingjackie) | 214 comments I would almost guess he has. He's a major geek. Which is one reason why I just adore him.

Did you realize you can look at the photos full size and actually see what is on his shelf? If you do that, many of those books look like older editions and look used.

message 18: by Susan (new)

Susan I totally agree Diane! Could you just imagine it??? Now that would be heaven only I wonder how long it would take me to pick the next book to read!!

message 19: by Cindy (new)

Cindy (cyndil62) | 1774 comments Have to chuckle at that comment Susan!! I have a hard time picking my next book from my two measly little bookshelves! Can you imagine?

message 20: by Susan (new)

Susan I know how you feel. I have 18 shelves, books double stacked on each and I keep reading books from the library instead of my own. Plus I go through all of the book lists from members here and keep on feeding the addiction! Now my new thing is 3 from the library and two of my own all being read at the same time. I just vacuumed the living room so now my cleaning is done for the day and I'm going to read-hahahahaha! Sad isnt it???

message 21: by Cindy (new)

Cindy (cyndil62) | 1774 comments I am the same way...so many books here and I keep getting more from the library!! Maybe I should try the 3/2 thing!! and I keep adding more too!!

message 22: by Susan (new)

Susan It's so nice to know I'm not alone in my addiction! Plus don't forget reading all of these different posts....I'm so afraid I'm going to miss a good book! Hehehehe Hello, I'm Susan and I'm an addict!! LOL

message 23: by Cindy (new)

Cindy (cyndil62) | 1774 comments Yea, but we're the BEST kind of addicts! :)

message 24: by Susan (new)

Susan Hahaha that would be so true Jo. As it is, I have to spend an hour looking for a book that I know I have!

message 25: by Susan (new)

Susan I wonder if he buys doubles of books he already has like I do? Hahahaha

message 26: by Susan (new)

Susan Some days I just sit and stare at my shelves and then a double smacks me in the face. I'm like, how did I miss that? It's been sitting in the same place for 6 months hahahahaha

message 27: by Susan (new)

message 36: by Mandy (new)

Mandy Just absolutely awesome, I could definitely spend some serious time in that library and oh dear, I thought I had loads of books but I can see I've got a lot of catching up to do so that's my excuse for buying more books and I'm sticking to it!

A little bit of info I learned on the weekend, Umberto Eco has 30,000 in one of his libraries and he owns 50,000 all up - wow!!!
