Dora Christine Fisher | 122 comments I don't remember much about this book. I would look at it, the pictures before I was able to read. I looked at this book possibly 1969, 1970. Not sure of the publication year that possibly in the 1960s. The book was brown and it had a picture of a tree with two different colored squirrels in it. As I look through the pages the two squirrels were in the tree and it was raining hard and they were looking torch a house as though they wanted to get out of the rain and go inside. This book was probably for ages between 7 years old, nine or ten years old.

Dora Christine Fisher | 122 comments I believe this is the one. It's an older book, it was something I got from my mom that she owned. Thank you everyone very much.

Here's the Google Books preview of Perri (1938, 249 pages) by Felix Salten - Dora's suggestion:

https://books.google.com/books?id=w_m... There are different cover images.

Should we mark your request as Solved?
