Zvi Rozenblt | 2 comments I enjoyed reading Nigel Tranter's historical fiction books. about Scotland's history.
He had the talent to create a character in a few lines.
His books are fascinating for example his 3 books about Robert the Bruce are marvelous.
He gives a lot of accurate details that you Scotland in your boons and love the place.
I read many of his books, for example, Macbeth, Margaret the queen, David the prince, and many more.
When had visited Scotland after reading many of his books I could help the guide to tell the tourists about Scottish history. He even asked me if I a Scotsman which I'm not.
I love to read historical fiction books from many periods, especially ancient history.
