there's no one stopping me from sleeping till noon at my aunt's house!! she goes to work early and my grandma sleeps a lot anyways so i can sleep as long as i want. buy usually i wake up around 8

yeah that sounds likely. I love the guys in the stable. they were nice. but i think some of them can be really mean. and I felt so bad when lada's friend got sent away to be one!

really? well, then mehmed becomes the sultan when his brothers die (probably murdered) and his father abdicated the throne to him
and then lada purposefully starts a war
i think that basically lada is telling hunyadi to come take over in war because mehmed is supposedly a terrible sultan and the throne isn't very stable so she's telling hunyadi to go to war cause they're vulnerable with mehmed on the throne. she did that to try to get mehmed's father back on the throne to rule and lead the troops so mehmed wouldn't have to rule. that's my understanding of what happened
hmm now I'm not sure. i actually think that was the Ottoman empire... oh goodness. I'm so bad at understanding political stuff in books lol
