I have just finished reading this book
On page 26 of 440, location 385
About cam & her dad
The book says 'He's the only person in her family that doesn't question her choices, and she's desperately in love with him for that'
For me 'in love' means something romantic???

I know this is a super old thread, but I just came across this just now.
First I think it's important to point out that the author is scottish and they have different views on using the word "love" than an American would (I don't know if deleted member here is American but I am, so taking my perspective on it).
I don't think it's meant to be romantic at all.
