Angelina | 3 comments I've been searching for days for this oldish book when i was a kid. I'm really hoping someone could help me. I am not sure of the exact genre.

It's a book about an Amish community who live on a mountain, or hill. The leader of the community doesn't allow outside contact. it's secluded, and off grid besides a truck that gave them supplies every so often. So the main character is the man in charge's daughter. She convinces her best friend to sneak into a shed, drink wine and listen to music. They go onto an icy lake when they are drunk, and her friend falls in and possibly died. I can not remember if she lived. Her father disowns and kicks her out of the community and has her drink a poison, or hallucinate and sends her into woods. she ends up in a barn while it's snowing. the next day she meets a guy around her age who lives there with his father and they start a romance with this boy who found her. I remember this being a series i never read the second ,or any book after. Not being able to get a hold of it and eventually losing the copy i had sadly. I do believe this is roughly the beginning of this short first book. Goes on to her trying to adjust to the new town she is in with this boy. Was a quick read.
i don't remember the books name but i feel like it was grace or her name was grace(this part could be wrong)

Angelina, that's a good start. You must add genre (e.g., YA or adult contemporary romance?) and plot details to the topic header (title). We have thousands of romance requests. We close threads with vague headers.

Click the small "edit" link after the header. This only works on the full Desktop website - not the Mobile website or app. (On the Mobile website, there's a "Desktop version" link at the bottom of the page.) Then we can re-open the thread.

I added plot details to the topic header. This will help searchers and moderators. Feel free to update it.
