Lane | 7 comments This book was in the waiting room of a therapist's office, I read it around 2016. It was a hardcover (mostly white cover with photographs?) with glossy pages and it was pretty thick. It reminded me of an Eyewitness book in size and content. It had only photographs - there were no illustrations in it - and the inside was laid out like a timeline with little blurbs about many people. One thing that stands out to me was that it had a blurb about Vaslav Nijinsky, the Russian ballet dancer, and that's the only place I've ever read about him. It also had one about Joseph Grimaldi, the first clown.

The title had a number in it, it was like "1000 Influential People in History" or "500 People Who Made History", something like that.

1000 Makers of the Millennium by Simon Adams seems to match your description. It includes Vaslav Nijinsky and Joseph Grimaldi.

The description on Worldcat.org contains a long list of famous people (which starts with Brian Boru) = https://www.worldcat.org/title/1000-m...

Search = https://www.worldcat.org/advancedsear... > Keyword = Nijinsky Grimaldi | Non-fiction | Book | English
