Dave Williams | 22 comments I just republished an edited version of my book on KDP. I changed the size, added an edited document, and altered the cover a bit. However, even though the book is the same story just published as a somewhat different version, my Amazon and Goodreads reviews haven't moved to it. There are currently no reviews at all for the recent version, even though it's under the same title and all. When I went from Lulu to KDP and republished my book there, the reviews moved to it. Why is it when I republished another version on the same site, there are no reviews? I tried adding the republished version as a new edition, but still no luck. Does anyone know what to do?

As for Goodreads, you should probably contact the Librarians or support and they should be able to merge it easily. All you'll need to tell them is the link to both the old and new edition.

On Amazon, I don't know.

P.D. Workman (pdworkman) Contact Amazon Author Central support and ask them to combine the editions onto the same product page.

On Goodreads, use the combine editions function.
