I was surprised. I don't read murder mysteries, so I didn't see it coming.

Thanks Carolyn and Connie for letting us know. I had not thought it was Junior at all, and had fully bought into the fact that Sherman was behind it all.

My take on it was that Junior would see his way to the top by playing the role of henchman for Matthews.

Thanks Sue. Was anyone else shocked by Junior's behavior in the car with Gina? It came out of left base for me!

I agree. I couldn't figure out why the author didn't even address him as a suspect early on.
