Np, I'm happy to add page numbers to books if we need to. Aslong as I can 'prove' it its fine :-)
Always good to have a librarian on the team :-)
Which does bring me to something else.
Dear Martin has the same cover on all the editions according to GR (except for a rare few), but the Simon and Schuster paperback edition I got is actually the same cover as the kindle edition from S&S.

So if you're currently reading a book you may not be able to finish for round 1, these are the letters it should work for.
The tags are:
1 Petal
2 Love
3 Asia
4 Music
5 Art
I like these tags much better already. I've already found a book each for Love and Asia. I suspect everyone will find one for Love.

I'll check tomorrow for some evidence from the publisher otherwise the head librarians will smite it down.
I'll be reading one tagged "music"

Can you pick another task though please?
The task is "MPG Holidays" and this one only has "holiday" without the s. Unless "holidays" was on the main page when you started it and was pushed over?

Under tags, the rules say: "◈ Genres must match exactly (though plural/singular is OK)" Is that not the case for tasks as well? I've only ever seen Holiday as singular on the main page with a specific holiday embedded (ex: Holiday > Christmas, Holiday > Halloween, etc).

Plural/singular is only for the tags, not the tasks.
I'm not sure I've seen Holidays as MPG either, but I don't pay attention to them all that often either, so.... no clue!

As the rules state, only plural/singular is accepted. For the rest, it should match exactly so no added words, sorry.
But generally, anything that has a love-something tag should have the love tag as well.

Of course the one I looked for so far didn't have love tagged alone.

Ok. Let's change the task for that one to: Read a book with a cityscape on the cover

Is it even possible to find a book that is just MPG Time Travel by itself?? Even the books on the "Best Time Travel Books" lists all have it on the main page as "Science Fiction > Time Travel." There are a few I wouldn't mind reading but not if they won't count. LOL!
Just an update, I will have The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes done but I won’t have time to complete anything extra for this round as we had some plans change. Once I complete this book I’ll post a tentative list for the next round :)

I have no idea, actually. It's usually embedded in the Science Fiction genre because it's a sub genre of sci-fi, so to speak.
But genres can be embedded.
The tags need to be exact.

Does it count as another team's recommendations if a member from another team recommends a book face-to-face, because you live together? Asking for a friend 😇😇🤭🤭🤭

XD she actually has recommended a lot of books for me to read over the years. She bought me my first Harry Potter book :D and my 7year old minion loves books as well. She just doesn't read as much because she still reads out loud and requires an audience -_-

I'm not sure I understand what you mean..?
We get 5 tag options. We read 10 books that fit those tags. And then that's it for the round.

That's so cool! Can't wait to have my own minion who I hope reads like me. My step daughter is 8 and she can't get enough of reading which is funny as her dad hates it. Shes massively into Harry Potter and the Roald Dahl books! Your minion will get there then you'll wonder when they'll get their head out of a book.
