I don't do any reading challenges with amounts of books to read, because I think reading is not a competition, not even with myself. I read to feel myself in other realities and to forget time in my own. My reading challenge for this year is to read Musil's The man without qualities and to (at least) begin Proust's In search of lost time.

That's similar to mine. I'm reading Musil right now and bought a nice edition of Proust: https://www.goodreads.com/photo/user/...
Good luck with your challenge :)
Wow what a nice edition you have. It is good that you placed this comment, because I had a very busy first half of the year and almost forgot about my Musil-challenge! But now you reminded me and the following months are not that busy, so it is a good idea to begin as well! Good luck with reading both books! Let's keep in contact!
Thanks for the friend request! I'll probably finish Musil this month. It's a demanding read, but rewarding just the same. Proust I'm going to tackle next year perhaps. There's also this mammoth novel(series) on my reading list
Min Kamp
by Norwegian author Karl Ove Knausgård, of which I read the first book.
I cannot start reading Musil before July, so I will finish it a few months after you I think. I know the name Karl Ove Knausgard, but didn't try any of his books yet. Good luck with all the reading!
How are the reading challenges going? I managed to get through parts I and II in about a month by half-systematically reading about 50 pages a day. Briefly looking at part III it didnt seems to connect directly to parts I and II. I'll simply skip that final part I think as I wasnt very impressed by what I read so far.
