2015 A-Z 'Deuces Wild ' Reading Challenge of African American

RULES
1. Must read 26 novels by A.A or African authors.
2, Each letter of the alphabet must be used
3. THE FIRST WORD OF THE BOOK TITLE WILL DETERMINE THE LETTER. Omit words such as: the, if, a, to, I, and,on,be,he, she, her, it,etc... as main words for titles.
4. For this challenge the only form of reading not acceptable is graphic and poetry. Children books (to include books you read with your chilren) is limited to two.
5. For this challenge a novel is acceptable reading if it has more than 100 publushed pages.
6. Please place the letter you are using FIRST,see format section in discussion tab,
7. There is no rule as to how many times you can read from the same author as long as its a different novel.
8. Please note your short story books by using SS in front of title.
9. FREE SPACE & the Wild Card TO BE USED FOR LETTERS X,Y,Z. THOSE NOVELS ARE YOUR CHOICE, HOWEVER, IF YOU FIND A QUALIFED BOOK FOR one of those LETTERS THEN YOU CAN CHOOSE TO USE ANOTHER LETTER IN ITS PLACE. The twist is you must read a novel ftom an author of that letter. Be sure to state 'wild Card letter' ex. You find a book for y letter which is a free space book. You put letter y in the name category, you can now use your free space for another letter, you decide to use b and place it in the free space: wild card letter B. You then must read a novel by a A.A.author with initial B.
* short stories are only allowed in these categories. Must be at least 35 published pages


THE CATEGORIES


1. My Initials- The first novel title must begin with the letter of your first name, The second novel title will begin with the letter of yiur last name, If you have the same inituals for both your first and last name you may choose to use your middle name or maiden name. Please note with a ** and give the name in ().

Then you can choose to use middle or madien name, you must state what that name is.

Read rules 2 & 3 we are using book titles instead of authors names. You must find book titles to fit each category whike making sure to use each letter of the alphabet

No. #1. Is for the first series and #2 is for the 2nd book the series

How about when the book titles for the 2 book series have the same letter.

Such as Love Delayed and Love Delivered? both start with the letter L.

It may just be me (which I doubt) but can this category be changed to include subjects regarding the continent of Africa, part of the story takes place in Africa or something like that.

I added a book as an exampke of the two color font. Look at bottom of category list

On the 4th i made the change due to the title of most series will be the same title therefore the letter will remain the same

The free space is for the difficult letters such as x, z or y,you can choose any novel but you must state the letter you are using for the book
