I finished Time to Run by Marliss Melton, SEAL Team 12 #3, and really enjoyed this one, the best in the series to date. Here's
my review.

I'm now reading Thread of Fear by Laura Griffin, Glass Sisters #1. This two-book series needs to be read before her Tracers series (for those manic about character connections).

I haven't read this one as yet Jonetta because I have been reading mediocre reviews about it and am afraid it will spoil my memory of "Me Before You." Having read your review though, I will tackle it next. Thank you for a fair review.

You're welcome. I had to separate the merits of the story from my own aspirations. I'm glad I read it now.

You mean with the Reynolds book? It took me just a bit to connect in but once I did (after a certain event takes place), I clued right in and then read straight through.

I finished Thread of Fear by Laura Griffin, Glass Sisters #1, last night and liked the story. I wasn't that crazy about the romance, though. Here's my review.

I finished Reaper's Fall (Reapers MC, #5) by Joanna Wylde - enjoyed it! I've now started Gabriel's Inferno (Gabriel's Inferno, #1) by Sylvain Reynard - it's the book that's been on my tbr list the longest. And, as part of a slimdown challenge, I need to read it and some of the others that have been on my list for so long.

I'm now reading All Fall Down by Stacy Green, the 4th and final book in the Lucy Kendall series. I'm a bit nervous about how this will end.

How did you like the new Butcher book?

message 1737: by Penni (new)

Penni | 816 comments Jonetta wrote: "How did you like the new Butcher book?"

I loved it. It's fantasy and steampunk and not romance. So that means lots of battle scenes, intricate descriptions, world building. The characters are quirky and interesting. It's quite different IMO than his Dresden Files series. I like steampunk and fantasy a lot so it's right up my alley.
