Finished Fractured by Karin Slaughter last night. Also listening hour of need by Melinda Leigh. I am really enjoying her series. she has a really easy to read writing style and has a really good suspense factor. thinking I will probably be looking for a new suspense series to start. open to any suggestions. Will also be continuing the Faces of Evil series and the Rizzoli and Isles series.
I set aside Force of Attraction by D.D. Ayres to read Edge of Forever, the final book in the When You're Gone trilogy. It was a fitting end to the series with a surprising climax. Loved the trilogy (review to come).
I also finished listening to The Shadows by J.R. Ward, which does indeed have a shocker. I'm still mulling over my thoughts about it.
I'm now listening to the last book in the Sin Brothers series, Total Surrender by Rebecca Zanetti.

I continued reading Imperfect Strangers
by David M. Staniforth and listening to Firestorm
by Nevada Barr yesterday.
Just finished reading the first Lord Peter Wimsey mystery, Whose Body?
by Dorothy L. Sayers.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I continued reading The State Counsellor: Further Adventures of Fandorin
by Boris Akunin last night.
Can't believe how far behind I've gotten in updating. Since my last I have finished: Kate Daniels #7
- Series just keeps getting better and better. Waiting for #8 will be like waiting for the next In Death.Ilona Andrews' Hidden Legacy #1
. This is the next Kate Daniels' in-the-making. Nevada Baylor is very different from Kate but looks like going to be a great character as well. Two more Guild Hunter's by Nalini Singh
&
& am reading now
which brings Elena Deveraux back to the fore. Love the series.Mercy Thompson #2
, also loving this series.Finished the first books in two series,
by Kim Harrison and
by Shannon Mayer. Liked both and will try #2 in each.Phew. That's it. I've clearly fallen in love with the UF genre.

I've finished:
I like this series, it's a fun one.
I wish the dialogue was better and that things connected smoother, but not bad.
thought somethings, but didnt really see this coming!
I finished Force of Attraction by D.D. Ayres, K-9 Rescue #2, and agree with Sunny that this one's the best to date in the series. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Barefoot by the Sea by Roxanne St. Claire, final book in the Barefoot Bay series.

So you like that K-9 series, Jonetta? I've debated reading it, but wasn't sure if it was any good.
Finished
, #6 in Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter Series -- that like the Kate Daniels' series gets better and better. The cast-building is getting very good, not dependent on Elena and Raphael, although they are featured in this book.Started
, Mercy Thompson #3.
Good to know about the Guild Hunter series. I'm starting the 3rd book soon.
Warning about Iron Kissed...you will be emotionally rocked.

I have. The first two books weren't without issues but I liked the K-9 aspect. This one is my favorite to date. FYI, the books stand alone as their is only one connecting character. She's the K-9 trainer and otherwise, the three in the series to date are completely independent.

just looking for something new....series or standalone. there are a couple of series that I need the next book to continue just can't decide on what to buy. I know I need the need the next book in the faces of evil series and in the delta crossroads series. or do I want something completely different lol
Have you read any Allison Brennan or Brenda Novak romantic suspense? What about the Last Chance Rescue series by Christy Reece? Now that's a great series.
I have wanted to read Allison Brennan and even have one book that i picked up at goodwill but haven't read it yet. Brenda novak is also one that I want to eventually start reading
I think you'd LOVE Reece. I just finished the 6th book in the series and haven't read a bad one yet. A few of us recently finished Novak's Bulletproof series and it was very good. I've read The Prey by Brennan and enjoyed it.
Just finished listening to Firestorm by Nevada Barr, an Anna Pigeon mystery.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

i am going to start on Reece this week, i have one book that i want to finish first. They all sound really good.
I will for sure Kris! I am sure i will love them. Every time J recommends a book to me i end up falling in love and getting addicted lol.

, Mercy Thompson #3. Jonetta -- You weren't kidding. The book just absolutely rocks you emotionally. Stayed up 'til 3am reading til my eyes gave out; finished today. Easy to see why the Mercy series is so popular.Starting the new Allison Brennan
, Max Revere #2, next - once I start breathing again.
Just wanted to give you a heads up. I had no warning and it leveled me. Not surprised you were reading at 3:00 am:)
Jonetta wrote: "Just wanted to give you a heads up. I had no warning and it leveled me. Not surprised you were reading at 3:00 am:)"Quite a book. The warning really helped keep the BP down. I'd say more but want to avoid spoilers. Thx.
I finished Barefoot by the Sea by Roxanne St. Claire, Barefoot Bay #4. I loved how the series ended and how they've shown up in the spin offs. I wasn't looking forward to Tessa's story, which is probably why it took so long for me to read it. Turns out it was really good. Should have known.
I'm now reading A Rake's Midnight Kiss by Anna Campbell, Sons of Sin #2.
