Sharon Sala/Dinah McCall is a hit and miss author for me. I pulled this book as a random read in another group. I hope this one is a hit!

I'm at the mercy of the library for several books this month, including the Bromance book. I hope it's as good as the first book in the series.

Laura I’m guessing you’ll like Two Girls Down, I really did. Enjoy!

Anita (anitanodiva) | 4013 comments I feel the same about Sharon Sala/Dinah McCall. I really like the older Dinah McCall books and have sort of stopped reading Sharon Sala. Great list - have a good month.

Looking forward to our discussions on four of your books, Robin.

Are you still enjoying the Graveyard Queen series? I loved it on audio as the narrator was outstanding.

Enjoy everything💜

I agree. I think her older Dinah McCall books were much better. I remember loving Jackson Rule when I read it many years ago. Soooooo Gooooood.

I really like the Graveyard Queen series so far. Her writing is so atmospheric. I feel like I'm right there in Charleston with Amelia and Devlin. I started The Prophet last night. Good so far.

Her series was the first I’d read where atmospheric made sense to me. Perfect description.

Oh, how I loved Nancy Drew, particularly this story! I see it’s narrated by Laura Linney and she seems like a perfect voice for Nancy. Did she work for you?

message 23: by Robin (new)

Robin (robinmy) | 3476 comments Laura Linney does a great job with this story, Jonetta. She doesn't really do different voices; but she sounds like a teacher I had in grade school who really put a lot into the books she would read us. The only drawback was the laughable addition of music during the dramatic parts. It sounded like the soundtrack to a silent movie sometimes.

Robin (robinmy) | 3476 comments Today I slogged through Bloodlines by Dinah McCall Bloodlines by Dinah McCall (AKA: Sharon Sala). The last few books I've read by this author have been misses. I think I just may have to give up on her.
