I read and enjoyed both trilogies. I also liked the first trilogy more - the characters were more memorable.

I loved the first trilogy. Every time the next book came out I read it in only a few days (a big deal for me). I loved the characters, and it hooked me within a page or two and never let me go.

Unfortunately, I just couldn't finish the second trilogy. The first book just didn't capture my attention, the characters weren't engaging to me, and for me it ended in a kinda meh way. Despite my love of Kelley Armstrong, I just didn't have the urge to pick up the rest of that one.
