"Strom From The Shadows" by David Weber

I will get back with one of them since I can't quite recall the full title.
Red-Rose Chain by Seanan McGuire

A Clockwork Crown By Beth Cato

Well just finished the Fourth The Black Powder War

I hadn't realized I was lagging on so many of them. I'm usually pretty good about staying current.

Looking forward to what Nalini has in store for us in the next arc.

Is this a good series? I almost picked up the first book the other day.
I finished

I absolutely love the Gunslinger. The Dark Tower series is a great series but can get daunting towards the end.

Also David Weber's "Storm From The Shadows"

Long but well done

Powerful and Illuminating…
Aiden, a doting husband and father, had the perfect life - a job he loved, a beautiful son, and a loving wife. In an instant, everything is taken from him and Aiden believes his life is over. But when a mysterious force grants him the power to heal those around him, Aiden is forced to pull himself out of his misery in favor of the greater good. I went with Fire Touched, it seems like more people read that one, more potential for spoilers.

Last year I broke up with both the Chicagoland Vamp series and Mercy Thompson. But I keep hearing talk about them in groups and I think "Maybe I should try again". I don't know what's wrong with me. It's not like I don't have 100 other books to read. I have a problem. :)

I fell behind on reading the CLV series and, truthfully, I haven't felt all that motivated to pick it back up again. I am current with the Mercy Thompson series but I'll admit that the last two books, which includes the current one, haven't held my interest as much as the series used to.

I haven't read any Mercy Thompson.
I am reading the Chicagoland Vampires, but stopped because I couldn't see paying $12.99 for an ebook. My library doesn't have the book either.

$12.99??? Yowza. That answers that question. I'll either not be reading it or waiting till down the road when I can get it from the library.

I can understand being disappointed. I heard so much about Poison Princess and DNF. On the other hand, I read no reviews in A Thousand Pieces of You and enjoyed it.
Same with movies!

I agree regarding reading reviews. It's the same with movies, reading all the hyped-up reviews and then I'm disappointed when I see the movie.

I enjoyed Mistress of the Art of Death. I still need to read the rest of that series.
I finished

Jane Yellowrock is one of my favorite series. Each one is better than the last.

Carolyn, I enjoyed Mistress of the Art of Death too.
I'm still reading the Ex-Heroes series,

I was going to read the second one right away but I caved to peer pressure and started
