Just finished and loved it. It was my first Anne Bishop book and I'm so glad i met her and got the book signed when I met Patricia Briggs because i think she is going to be a favorite.

I really enjoyed them both.
I just adore Tiger so it was fun to see him take center stage. Shadow Keeper was good and I really liked Sasha. I also like the humanity in the story that people want to protect their community and in their family. However the chapter long sex scenes were a bit much so maybe I missed stuff because I kept skimming through the sections.

I am almost done with Kingdom of Ash I have been reading it for SO long. It's great, but I feel like it's been months. Life has been busy, so I don't have as much time to read.

Kingdom of Ash is good, but it was not.my favorite. I might just still be upset because it took me so long to read. :) Court of Wings and Ruin is pretty great.

Also the fact that Raphael was away on business while Elena is out fighting crime while she is essentially falling apart while waiting on information from the library just seemed really far fetched (hide spoiler)]

I totally get both points. I can sort of forgive the cliffhanger, they happen all too often. As to the other point (view spoiler)[I put that down to they are all so old, that someone hasn't changed for so long that they have "forgotten" this aspect. That or it's never happened before so they didn't know. (hide spoiler)]

As one of my favorite series, this one just seemed off to me. I should probably make sure I say it is not a bad book by any stretch of the imagination but the others for me have just been so enjoyable this time it was meh. It happens, what can you do.

True. For me this series was just ok at the start, but has slowly picked up with each book.

Just read the latest NS newsletter where she said that Guild Hunter #12, will be out after June, no set date yet. She said she hopes to release the title early in the New Year ~ so basically anytime now.

I loved the series right from the beginning, but I'm a sucker for a HEA.
