Fabulous purse!

message 762: by Jenn (new)

Jenn | 65 comments I'm reading Soul Bonded by L. Ann. Has vampires and immortals with mystery

message 763: by Deborah (new)

Deborah Wilde Finished both Etched in Bone (The Others, #5) by Anne Bishop and Silence Fallen (Mercy Thompson, #10) by Patricia Briggs The first one was a fantastic end to the series. The second one, well, there is never a bad Mercy Thompson book but this wasn't one of my favs.

message 764: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4736 comments No, no, I don't want it to end!!!

And its never good when you have to wait 12mths or more for Mercy and it isn't fabulous :(

I know! My heart was both happy because the final book was exactly what I wanted but sad because it was over. Oh well, many re-reads to come. :)

message 766: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4736 comments Luckily I like to re-read.

Wasn't there some talk about doing more Others but with different characters, different parts of the world?

Yeah, that's right. I'm sad for it to end, but excited to see more of the world.

message 768: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4736 comments I like the idea of it as well.

message 769: by Deborah (new)

Deborah Wilde That could be good.

message 770: by Anne (new)

Anne | 318 comments I like the fact that Ms. Bishop created a completely different world than anyone else - great series. Originally, it was ony going to be a trilogy.

message 771: by Samantha (new)

Samantha Mullins (hixxup79) I haven't posted in this thread in a very long time. I feel it's time to get back to what I love books and Goodreads.

What I am currently reading is Her Fiery Viking (Her Elemental Viking #1) by A.J. Tipton by A.J. Tipton. It's a review book from an Indie Author, it's just one of many reviews for Indie authors that I have in store.

message 772: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Yeah I can see that. It's a review book so I got it for free in place of an honest review.

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments I finished Forevermore (Darkest London, #7) by Kristen Callihan I am super sad to see this series come to an end.

I am thinking of perhaps doing a reread.

message 778: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4736 comments I read about half the first one Dawn, and I wasn't a fan. Still got the book though so I may at some point finish it.

message 779: by [deleted user] (new)

I just started Web of Lies (Elemental Assassin, #2) by Jennifer Estep . I wasn't sure I was going to like this series, but I'm hooked already. Hopefully it stays good. Next up I want to read Certain Dark Things by Silvia Moreno-Garcia . I got it from Christmas, and I've been excited for it since before it was published.

I am almost done with re-reading Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - I have a ton of other books to read - but, wanting something light.

I do that all the time. Sometimes the second time around I adore it, other times I am like meh.

Let us know if you decide to go back and check it out.

Sandra | 4736 comments Sure thing Dawn :D but please don't hold your breath. LOL

I'm going to do a re-read of that series too. Sadly, I'm #206 in line for the audio book. The library does have 45 copies, so it should go fast, but still. I didn't expect such a long wait for an "old" series. I could read them as I have the hardcovers, but the audios are great and I want to go that route.

Shera (Book Whispers) (sherabookwhispers) | 127 comments Finished up The Diabolic (The Diabolic, #1) by S.J. Kincaid which I loved! (And I probably added way to many quotes for it.)

Now I'm in a big debate about what I should read next.

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments I read two random books The Bear Is Back In Town (Return To Bear Bluff, #1) by Harmony Raines The Alpha Meets His Match (Shifters Inc., #1) by Georgette St. Clair

I adore bear shifters!!

message 791: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4736 comments I love the Georgette St Clair books, nice easy, funny reads. And I was thinking about the other one, think it was on that 99c list I posted :) & its still that price.

message 792: by Dawn, Desperately seeking new worlds (new)

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments This last one was just ok. I liked the Timber wolf pack better...Alpha for the Bride or Bride for the Alpha.

I picked up the one from the list too Sandra Bridenapped!

I think she has a ton of potential. A good editor could help her draw out the emotional plot and then I think she would be amazing.

Thethriftybooklady (readingdiva8511) | 109 comments Hi I've actually been away for almost 2 years because I had a baby and just didn't have time to read for awhile or just couldn't get out of a slump. Thankfully to Fire Touched by Patricia Briggs (can't figure out how to do the book pics on my phone app) that I just finished. Now I'm thinking about reading Dark Prince by Christine Feehan because I have several of them on my shelf because my bestie gave them to me but haven't read them. I'm glad to be back

I would love to hear the accents if they are British - what fun.

Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments Welcome back Erica!! I love when you take a break from reading then you come back it all seems fresh and new.
Try out the Dark Prince and let us know what you think. It could be a nice break from running behind a toddler. They get so busy so fast.

Thethriftybooklady (readingdiva8511) | 109 comments Thank you Dawn I'm using the browser version right now. Yes I missed reading and an so glad I'm finding room to read again. Both my hubby and daughter went to bed early so that meant I got to read so I started Dark Prince (Carpathians, #1) by Christine Feehan so far its intriguing but im only one chapter in.

message 799: by [deleted user] (new)

I finally started reading Certain Dark Things by Silvia Moreno-Garcia . So good. Elemental Assassin #4 arrives on Monday.
