Thanks, Kavi! I'm not sure, am I allowed to add more books? If yes, then how many more and only from my partner's list or ..."

Sorry, somehow missed this one. Yes, with mutual consent, you and your partner can add more books. The max per person is 25. This way you will be adding wild card - that is books not in initial list :).

Also, you can read books from your partners' list.

Hmm, it's more like 2.5-3, but I was a bit miffed at the end of it, hence the critical rating I guess. The writing is good, but I didn't care much for the characters and the story was all over the place. You can give it a go though, might surprise yourself (and me) 😁.

3188 pages from 11 books. (Actually 10 full books and 85% of one).

message 125: by Sharadha (new)

Sharadha Jayaraman (jayaras) | 1795 comments Finished The Housekeeper and the Professor - 3 stars. With that, I have completed all my self-nominated as well as compulsory books.

My final tally for the readathon is 2,345 pages and 9/10 books completed.

I have one wild card slot left but doubt I will take up anything else at this point in time.

Notes:
1. My main comment thread had some mathematical glitches (not unusual) regarding the total (possible) number of pages read and these were exacerbated with the introduction of the wild card books. The number was originally 2,187 but has now been corrected to 2,345 (not sure where the calculations went awry but now it's all accurate).

2. My average rating in this readathon is ~4 stars which I am happy with :)

Congratulations to all of you for completing your challenges and achieving your goals. I had a great month of June courtesy this activity, so thanks all for arranging it :) Now bowing out with my (unplanned) thank you speech 😁
