I rated A Single Thread two stars. It was not my favourite read thus far. Of course friends and fabrics will get us all through many hardships; it’s just that ex-husbands don’t normally (ever?) show up hoping to give their exes more money while everyone in our circle finds love and fulfillment all at the same time. Maybe I’m nit-picking or just Covid cranky. I hope everyone is doing well and finding our book club a worthwhile endeavour. Feel free to rave or rant away if that helps. Kim and I are good with that.
Our June selection is The Quilter’s Apprentice by Jennifer Chiaverini. I have the Powassan Library Kobo, which has our entire year of books on it. Once I am finished I can pass it on.

Read on, Elaine.
