Carmela | 4 comments Read in 2009/2010. I thought I found the book when reading the plot to the Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, but I am almost certain details are different:
A boy with no known family/parents die and he is left a mansion in his deceased uncle or family member's will. It is a beautiful house but very old and decrepit and it is described as being incredibly dusty. He finds a garden in the back and I'm pretty sure he rides a caterpillar or something.
So it is a bit different from The Secret Garden, same gist but the kid is a boy and the Uncle is dead?
