What the hell? The dude that was sent from the Scholar or whatever knew where she was? How is she even in hiding anymore if that guy know? That guy knows = scholars know = king knows = everyone knows. *Sigh*

My thoughts exactly! And since the scholar knows why isn't she packing her things at this very moment and leaving? This protagonist is stupid.

Okay so here are my thoughts so far:

I dislike the love triangle and I think it takes away from the story overall. Why have a love triangle when it's clear to everyone that she likes Rafe more?

I would like to know more about the world they live in. I would like to know what the book she stole says. And if we understood more of the world then we could understand the quotes/excerpts at the beginning of each chapter.

All in all I'm just frustrated because I feel like this story has made zero progress except for her wanting to be with Rafe, looking into Kaden's "cloudy" eyes, and hinting at a gift that hasn't manifested.

I totally agree. A love triangle is only good if the girl loves both guys, and the both stand an equal chance. Honestly, I don't even get the point of Kedan liking her other than a reason for him to become a big enemy later in the series. Other than that there is no point...
