I believe the manor was ancestral-first chapter opens with how awesome the maze was.
I think either the manor or the boy's name begins with W but not sure
The cover had the boy looking up in the garden at a girl leaping overhead from a tree
I say YA but it felt more like preteen material
Probably read the thing sometime around 2013

(view spoiler)[ He meets a girl in what I think was a treehouse and it's later implied she's a circus runaway, hence the flying thing. I think the title baffled me bc it referred to her flight as opposed to say the maze but not sure really (hide spoiler)]
