Okay so Post apocalypse. There's the Zombies, the survivors, and then the scientists.
The scientists are a group of people trying to find a cure for people who have been bitten, but not yet turned. But they do it in a brutal way. They use other humans as their test subjects, hoping that it'll help the process along fast. They let a zombie bite a victim, and then they try to save the victim with whatever they've got. But so far, everything has failed. Girl A is one of these victims, and her name it coming up on the list.
Girl B is a survivor. But she's part of a rebel group that has set out to stop the scientists. So girl B's unit breaks into a scientist warehouse to break out a few victims, girl A is one of them.
Girl A joins Girl B's unit, though really, all Girl A wants to do is hide.
At one point, girl B saves Girl A's life(again), but is injured in the process. The two girls get separated from the group and have to find shelter from the zombies before it gets dark. But then they realize that girl B isn't just wounded, she's been bitten, and she only has a few hours before she becomes the things she hunts. So Girl A has to go into the scientists compound to look for a cure. Will she find one in time? Or will the only person she'd ever had feelings for die?
BUM BUM BUUUUUUUUUUM!
Lol.

Age: 23
Gender: female
Personality: She has a bit of a hero complex, as well as she likes to put herself in dangerous situations. She can also be funny and caring, but usually comes off serious and unfeeling. She doesn't like to be told what to do, and is a natural leader. She doesn't like to mess around, and she doesn't fall for people easily.
Background: She was 13 when the zombie virus broke out. She parents were one of the first people to be infected due to living right next to a world renowned science lab. At the time, the news had been reporting about a few people who had fallen very very sick, and has been sent to a scientific lab for testing. But then those people got out, and broke into peoples houses and attacked them. Emma had been on a trip the day her house had been broken into, and she wasn't there when he parents were bitten and then taken back to the lab by scientists. It wasn't until later, that she learned what had really happened to them.
She became a rebel when she was 20, which was the age you had to be to join the rebel units that went out and actually did something about the scientists. She's been with them now for three years, and is a leader for her very own unit. She has never lost a single person, and have saved for test subjects than anyone else.

Age: 22
Gender: Female
Personality: Lydia is a brave girl who isn't afraid to fight, but she also knows when a situation is entirely out of her control. She smart and resourceful but that means she also knows when it is best to keep quiet and stay out of the spot light. She's not very trusting, however, so she tends to work alone and stay alone whenever possible. Of course, when her life is in danger she is willing to take a risk with someone if she thinks that that is her only means of survival.
Background: Lydia was 12 years old when the apocalypse started. She was with her parents and older brother for some time, about three years, but they were separated. She was the only one small enough to hide and her father forced her to do so while they ran. She was bi-passed by the zombies and escaped after a full day of hiding. Unfortunately, she could not find her whole family. She found her mother dead and her brother a zombie, but she still does not know what happened to her father.
A few days after her hiding she was discovered by a group of scientists. She kept her distance from them but it made no difference. They found her and took her back to the labs. She has been a prisoner ever since, just waiting her turn to be put through the trials. She has lost almost all hope of escape and her time is coming up.
Appearance:

"Shut up" Emma hissed for the third time. "I swear if you talk one more time," she turned forward again, glancing around a corner. Clear. No Zombies hanging around. She turned to one of the guys in her group and nodded at him. He nodded to his group of three, and they advanced towards the ware house slowly, looking around them as they went. It was a little too quite for Emma's liking, and she wanted to make sure everyone got out okay.
The next group of three went on her mark, and a few minutes later she and the last two people moved to the ware house, silently slipping inside. She froze in the darkness, concerned that no one had turned on a light. Letting out a long, silent breath, she clicked the button of her flashlight, illuminating the room somewhat, revealing 8, dirty, malnourished people, and her team.
"Alright people. I know you're scared, and I know your tired, but its getting dark and its clear right now. So, we're gonna move quickly and efficiently, and you will stick close to us. Understand?" she looked around at the people she was about to take responsibility for. "If any of you get left behind... well, then I'm sorry. but we're not going to come back okay? So please keep up."

She turned with a frown etched on her lips, and she turned until she had the speaker in her line of sight. A woman she had not seen before, and who was not wearing the usual lab fatigues. She could hear that this was some kind of rescue mission, though a very crude one. It didn't matter. Rescue was rescue and she was going to get out of this place before she was forced to meet the fate in the labs.
She jumped to her feet, though she was weak and this caused her to rock back and forth a little too much. She looked around. Some of the others would have an even harder time than she did herself. There were elderly and very young children. She couldn't just go, she had to try and help some of these people, so she did. She started to help the kids up and she sent them over toward their supposed rescuers. She knew that there was a possibility this was all a scam, or even a dream, but she had to take this chance at this point. It was all she had.

How did the baby get her? it looked like it had just been born. Did she had the baby in the warehouse? Was she okay? Emma made a note to get this woman looked at immediately. She crouched down next to her. "Are you able to walk maam? I can carry your baby and help you. But I need you to get up now..." she said softly, pushing some stray hair from the woman's face.
The woman just shook her head and thrust the baby into Emma's arms. "No. Take her. Take her away from here. I'm dying," she whimpered, and Emma could see the resignation in the woman eyes. Fury flashed in Emma's soul and she took her head. "Sorry Maam. Unless your dead or a zombie, you don't have a reason not to come along. We have medical help that can help you but I need you to get up!" she slid her free arm around the womans waist, and counted to three in her head before pulling the woman from the ground, holding onto the baby tightly.
"There you go..." She took stock of how many people there were. Good. There were enough people with guns out just in case. "Come on everyone. Let's get out of here..." she nodded to the first group by the door, and they started exiting the building, children in the middle of a triangle of three people, two of which had their guns out, since it didn't take all that much to hold someone on your back when they were holding on for dear life.
Emma was the last to leave, still holding onto the woman. She wanted to make sure everyone got out. She moved towards the door. She was going to be so slow with this woman dragging herself along. Peeking out of the ware house, she thought the coast was clear and started out. But there was a soft groan behind her, and turning to glance over her shoulder, she cursed. The woman she was supporting glanced behind her and screamed at the sight of the zombie coming towards them, and wasn't so limp anymore, giving Emma the room she needed to draw a gun and fire.
"Damn." she muttered, ignoring the body. If there was one, there would be more, especially since she had just given away their position. She spotted the girl that had helped get people going. "You!" she barked, depositing the mother to her. "You watch this woman you understand? help her walk? I've got your back. Whatever you do, don't stop walking," she said, then placing her hand on the small of the slightly younger girls back, started walking quickly after their group.
((sorry that was a little long. :P))

Lydia cuddled the baby up into her arms and held the mother as best she could with her free appendage. She kept walking and she didn't turn around as she started to hear more and more grunts coming from behind herself. She knew the creatures were probably only a breath away but she had to trust this stranger to dispatch them before they got to herself and the new mother. Thankfully the baby seemed to be blessedly quiet while they moved.
She didn't chance a glance backwards. She kept moving forward, yanking the mother up when she had to and making sure that the baby was ok. She didn't know where they were going she only hoped that it wouldn't be much further. She couldn't go on much longer this way. Everyone was so weak, including herself, and the baby was starting to feel incredibly heavy.

"We're almost there by the way, and then you can hand the mother back to me," Emma shot at the zombie closest to them and frowned. "And if you could possibly speed up the pace just a tad, that would be... great," she said. "These are getting a little too close to comfort..." She hoped that once they were in view of the compound, someone would come out to help them with the baby and mom. She wasn't sure how much longer this girl could hold them both.

She glanced back at the woman helping them. "Please tell me there are more people to help when we get there," she panted. "None of us even have weapons. Some of us have been in there for years and..." She stopped talking so she could focus on walking and avoiding the zombies that seemed to only be getting closer. Not to mention, more and more seemed to be arriving from nowhere.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, the compound came into view. Emma felt relief wash through her as the guards on the wall saw them, but her relief quickly turned to panic when they seemed to withdraw once the zombie horde came into view. Oh god they were going to leave them out there. For the first time in a while, fear struck in her heart, and she wasn’t sure if they were going to make it. But then the doors of the compound opened just a tad. Emma heard shouting, and then a small body launched its way through the crack, running towards them.
“Izzy get back inside!” she shouted angrily. But the younger girl wouldn’t listen. The girl launched herself at the mother. Picking up her other side, taking some of the weight off of the other scientist victim.
“We’re gonna run,” the new girl said. “Are you ready? One, two, three,” and then she was running, practically dragging the weaker girl and mother along with her. Emma was close behind, keeping an eye on the enemy, as well as the others. When they made it inside, the door shut loudly, and Emma thrust her gun at the nearest guard to her.
“Come on get me a medic,” Emma said softly, slowly, deliberately taking off her protective pads. When no one moved, she looked up and yelled, “NOW!” then she whirled on the younger girl. “Thank you for coming to help but never, ever do that again,” she snapped.
((Are these lengths okay? Or would you prefer I make them shorter?))

Lydia had never felt more grateful in her life than she did to the young girl who came out and helped her carry the mother inside. It had seemed like an eternity up until the moment they were safe, but once they were she felt her entire body explode with relief.
"Thank you," she breathed out, soothing the baby against her that had begun to cry almost on cue when they were inside. "Thank you so much." She looked to the woman who had had her back the whole way there, then the younger savior. She gave them each a weak smile, then she was slipping down on her knees, still comforting the baby.
"Help her," she said pointing to the mother. She closed her eyes a little bit. "Help her so that she can feed her baby. I'm fine." She opened her eyes up and blushed just a little bit. "Sorry. No one even asked if I was fine and I'm not the one who should be giving orders here." She laughed nervously. "I'm Lydia. Thank you again so much for getting us out of there. You saved my life. Today was supposed to be my last day..."
The realization of this fact suddenly dawned on her and she gaped a little bit. She had been ready to die and now she had another chance. Of course, she was also holding a crying baby in a strange place, but it didn't seem to matter much. She was safe for the time being.

Emma was finally starting to relax, now that everyone was safe in the walls. She would need to regroup with her unit to see how everyone was doing. That had been a tough run, and she wasn’t sure if everyone had made it back alright. Glancing at the girl she was supporting as they walked. She did a once over. She didn’t seem injured, which was good, though she could definitely use a sandwich or two. Emma couldn’t imagine what it would be like to be trapped in a dark warehouse for years, just waiting for your death. She shuddered a little at the thought.

They were soon at the hospital area and she was beyond surprised that it was actually larger and more advanced than she thought. This place must have been years in the making and she was impressed. If she had known such a place had existed the entire time she would have worked harder on her escape.
"Let me know if there is anything I can help with," she said when it was obvious that it was her turn to see someone. "I'm not hurt I'm just not very strong right now. I can do anything you need me to, if it will help."

“Savior Huh? Alright. Well, my name is Emma.” She said, watching the girl sooth the child. This girl was interesting. Not only had she gotten up to help other when the rescue party had arrived, but she then proceed to carry a dying woman and a screaming child all the way back to base. Emma was amazed that for someone who had been locked in the dark for who knows how long, could still be such a good human being.
“You may not be hurt, but you need to rest and eat. Hand the baby over to one of the nurses and I’ll take you to get some food in your belly,” she nodded at one of the women in white who came up and held her hand for the child. “The baby will be in good hands, I promise,” Emma said softly to Lydia, then turned to leave when the nurse finally took the baby, gently, from Lydia’s arms. Emma was starving, and it was time to food in her system or she might pass out too. She glanced behind her to make sure the Lydia girl was following along.

Lydia followed along behind Emma, but she was moving rather slow. She was exhausted and it was starting to hit, further, there was so much to see. She had been locked in that place for so long she had forgotten what the outside world could look like, or anything else. This whole place they were in seemed to be entirely new and beautiful. Even the ground itself was amazing to see and feel under her feet, which were bare. She had grown out of her old shoes so long ago that she didn't even remember what they had looked like. The clothes she wore weren't really clothes at all, just a plain gown like everyone else.
"How long has this existed?" Lydia asked as they walked along, looking every direction that she possibly could. She could feel her heart racing just to be being able to view all of this around her.
