So I wasn't sure which forum to post this in... I figured this was the best one.

So I was looking for my edition of this book but the ISBN does not exist in the Goodreads database. As a rule of thumb I normally check other editions to see if there's one that matches my edition but that may have missing information before I try to add mine or request mine to be added.

Referring to the above link, should the ISBN13 be 978-0733624193 (which is the ISBN of my copy) instead of 645-0733624193?

Considering that 978 is above 654 in the same order on the keyboard, it seems like a typo. But I'm no expert on ISBNs so if its incorrect then could it please be corrected otherwise please let me know for future reference.

#16 Please include ISBN for page count requests, even when linking to the book. Also, Bookdepository is not considered a very reliable source for page counts.
Worldcat, which matches Goodread's page count policy much more closely, puts this book at 220 pages.
Could I please trouble you to check what's after pg 220?

The adapter is the author. The original author is basically a contributor.

Abridged works are combined with the original author's works, but adaptations are not.

its hard to wrap your head around sometimes, but think of Bambi.
Felix Salten is the author. Disney authored the Disney version, and dozens of children's authors and illustrators make their own version/adaptation. Salten is very rarely even mentioned.

Bambi is my go-to explanation for this. Hope it helps.
