Bonnie | 0 comments I am not familiar with any of those authors but I recommend Amanda Lee's Embroidery mystery series. There is some embroidery type stuff in there but it is not overpowering to the story in each book that I can tell so I recommend them for anyone who likes a clean mystery novel. The main character has good taste in clothes, it has some sweet romance in it (clean of-course), and her best friend owns a coffee shop across the street from her embroidery shop...just to give you an idea of what type of stories these are. There are 7 books so far in the series with the next one coming out in April, I believe.

I so they should be on my Goodreads page. I will check it out.

Julesy | 1411 comments Based upon your favorite authors, I think you will like Rose Pressey. She has a TON of books and series with a touch of paranormal and chick-lit but not overdone. Also recommend Gemma Halliday's High Heels series. Very cute and decent mysteries. There's also Ellery Adams and Bailey Cates.

Jennifer (finegael) | 284 comments I really like Avery Aames Cheese Shop series.

Heidi | 2446 comments I second the Bailey Cates and Ellery Adams recs based on your favorites. Have you read the White House Chef series? I like several of the authors you mentioned and the White House series is one of my top favorites ever. State of the Onion State of the Onion (A White House Chef Mystery, #1) by Julie Hyzy

Erin L (wellreadmoose) | 505 comments Most of those authors write paranormal/magical mysteries. Have you tried Darynda Jones? I'm really liking her grim reaper series First Grave on the Right

The Hex series by Linda Wisdom 50 Ways to Hex Your Lover

Rhys Bowen's Her Royal Spyness series isn't paranormal or magical, BUT it's a lot of fun (set in Britain) Her Royal Spyness

Casey Daniels writes a series about a woman who can see ghosts and solves mysteries for them. It's one of my favorites Don of the Dead

Nancy Martin - another fairly straightforward cozy series, set in Philedelphia among the wealthy. How to Murder a Millionaire

❂ Murder by Death (murderbydeath) Betty wrote: "Madeleine Alt now writes as Annette Blair. The Levine's have good book. Check my Wordpress blog for more books aT here are reviews on over 300 books most of them mysteries emphasis on cozies.
