To All the Boys I've Loved Before question

I think I remember the name of the other guy your saying. John McClaren. But i'm not sure if the spelling of his last name is correct. YES! I'm also for Peter.
I thought of that too, Margot and Josh getting back together. But I'm still clueless because remember when Lara Jean was supposed to write another letter for Josh? She started that letter with PS I Still Love You... That's the confusing part.

Hello! I'm thinking that this sequel should be a Peter and Lara Jean follow up because honestly, who really cares about Josh anymore? He is quite annoying in my opinion because he is confusing about what he is feeling but I don't know that's just what I think. Maybe more of a love triangle would be interesting?

Im pretty sure the Josh/Margot/Lara Jean love triangle was sorted out in the 1st book. At the end Lara Jean obviously realized that she didn't have feelings for Josh anymore when she discovered she was in love with Peter. And it looks like Margot and Josh are going to get back together. So I think its safe to say that Josh is out of the picture.

So the next most obvious love interest is that guy (can't remember his name) who she only saw briefly in the first book. He is basically the only guy who's story hasn't been resolved - other than Peter of course. The Josh thing has been sorted out, that other guy is gay and the camp guy didn't get the letter (can't remember their names)

But anyway, Im all for Peter and Lara Jean.

NO JOSH ANYMORE!!!!! i mean he was done in 1st book... just PETER and i'm sure its gonna be a whole lot of triangles and fun between peter's ex and that new boy john but it should be peter with no "dear peter" and "dear john" sort-of endings

I agree with Courtney A.K.A The Book Addict. I'm pretty sure the Josh storyline is finished as well. There was another guy that Lara Jean wrote a love letter to. And she had this to say about him in book 1:

"Besides Josh, I think John Ambrose McClaren matters the most to me of all the boys I've loved. There was just something so sweet about him. It was the promise of maybe, maybe one day. I think John Ambrose McClaren must be the One That Got Away"

She even went to see him in book 1 to see if he recognized her. I don't think she said anything beyond "Hey" but he did know her and was surprised to see her. I think Josh is out and John is in!

Totally peter! i just wish lara jean would end up with him though :( i hope john, (on the next book) wont get in their relationship

I think that Peter and Lara Jean should get back together. Personally I think Lara Jean cares too much about what other people think. **SPOILERS** So what if people think you had sex with Peter in the hot tub? Let them believe that.

I'm pretty sure it is about her and Peter (thank god). Josh still likes Margot i think and Peter and Lara Jean are adorable and I love them!

My guess is also for Peter and John to be the next love triangle. I think finding out Josh and Margot really did have sex ruined that angle for the next book. Plus, it would just be the same book again.
