I'm sticking to my trend of reading some lighter books, while stuck at home. They are greatly satisfying and bring me more joy than my rating implies and for that I apologize but will not retract.

An added bonus with The Art of Inheriting Secrets is the cooking and food in the book. Olivia Shaw the main character is an editor for a food magazine and while in England she meets an owner and chef of an Indian restaurant. That is a plus, but not the focus of the book.

The focus of the book is Olivia Shaw inherits an English manor and estate from her mother, which her mother had hid from her until her death. Well, doesn't everyone love such an unlikely story?
