Henry Davidson | 2 comments Hi, I am looking for a children's picture book I used to get about from a library in New Zealand in the early - mid 90s. I think it was probably published in the late 70s to late 80s.

I think the picture books was called The Orange Tree or The Orange Garden or The Olive Tree or maybe The Grapevine but I haven't been able to find it online by any of these titles.

The book featured illustrations of different anthropomorphic Italian trees and plants like olive, orange, a grape vine etc. The story moved through a sort of elaborate garden, with each page introducing a different tree. There was some sort of narrative tying them together but this I don't remember.

The illustrations were very sumptuous and the clothing and style of the anthropomorphic trees was vaguely Italian renaissance.

Would appreciate any help finding the actual names and details of this book!
