Charles Vrooman (greenpower) | 89 comments Is one of your New Year’s resolutions going to be reading more ebooks with your Kindle Reader during 2015? Maybe you got one of the new Kindle Readers for Christmas and got a FREE Membership as an Amazon Prime user. If so, you are eligible to borrow books for FREE from the Kindle Owners Lending Library. Also, if you signed up for Kindleunlimited you can get and keep books for FREE at Amazon.
If one of the above describes you, then try the biotech thriller, “The True Virus”, or the environmental thriller, “Green Power”, for FREE.

Jack Knapp I'll continue to read free ebooks.
But as an author, I'm making a few changes, starting today.
I've been publishing and revising. As of now, 4 novels, 1 short story, and 1 novella have been sent off to D2D for distribution to Amazon, B&N, Kobo, PageFoundry, and Scribd.
Prices are being revised as follows: Short story, free; Novella, 1.99; First Novel in a series, 2.99; subsequent novels, 3.99.
Those prices seem reasonable.
Noteworthy: even trad-published bestsellers are now discounting ebooks and sending the info out via emailers. So the handwriting is on the wall: if the highest of high-flyers have to discount to sell books, the rest of us must also. Most of those bestsellers are priced at 2.99 but I've seen a couple as low as 0.99.
I'm promoting via several emailers/advertisers. So far, the two best are Ereader News Today and BookSends. Both seem to be worth what you pay. I'm also listing a book on Author Shout for $5; the book will remain on their page for 30 days. Results, not great as yet, but for that price, you can't go far wrong.
