SOLVED. Teen Post Apocalypse about girl who is chosen to serve the ruler of her country [s]

Read in 2019 Spoilers ahead: the girl is chosen to work in an electronics department but it turns out the ruler is evil and kills/tortures people. he beats then, makes them fight for his amusement, lets them eat a good meal once in awhile but usually makes them starve so she has to flee the castle/mansion with a guy that was also chosen.

Donald, can you describe her work in the electronics department? What does she fix or maintain?

i dont think it ever really went that in depth about what she fixed, it was just general projects and whatever she was asked to fix.i think there were communication bracelets,computers and stuff like that. the story wasnt really about that it was just her assignment in the castle
