Ash sat in her bedroom stuck in deep thoughts, thought positive nobody else was considering every possible case scenario that could happen while she and nine other people went down. She attempted to shake her thought away by walking to her dresser, remembering how important a small music locket was such an important item to her mother. Mom.
Ashlyn's mother had been very happy with her position in the sub, but her early death, when Ash was only four, had been a serious misfortune. The little Ash could remember of her was centered around the locket that hung around her neck 24/7. She refused to let anyone touch it, for fear she would lose the last piece of her mother.
Not that many people ever tried to touch the locker, her few friends were more of acquaintances rather than friends, Ash was generally lonely, nobody to talk to. Heck, half of the people in the sub thought she had developmental issues, "It isn't a crime to be solitary and completely self-dependent." She had said to her defense once.
Ash waited patiently, winding the locket's knob and listening to the slow tune, immediately Ash's tense posture relaxed, she allowed her eyes to close and wait in silence.
Luke-
Luke had slept in for a while longer than he probably should have and was pulling on clothing, gelling his hair out of his eyes, looking in the mirror at his reflection, debating whether he should find his father and bid a final farewell, but deciding against it due to the fact his father was a busy man, and that he had previously given Luke a push to go down.
Luke had been busy watching, learning, listening. He didn't necessarily want to go, but he admitted to himself he was curious as to what it would sound like, whether sims were accurate. Whether everything would go as planned.
Luke sat boredly are the edge of his bed, staring blankly at the wall, then sighed. Once again being brought to his thoughts from years before. Why are we still cooped up on this ship? He knew the answer, but felt like there was a solution.

Ash flinched when her alarm buzzed and she opened the drawer in her small desk, pressing her tracker on slowly, wincing in pain. She sighed and shut the locket, tucking it inside her black, tight fitting tank top, then waited.
Finally over the PA system she heard her name being called, "Ashlyn Jackson, Please proceed to the meeting room." Ash reluctantly stepped through the metal door that had opened and clenched her teeth, suddenly being reminded of the fact there were 400 of them in this shuttle, suddenly Ash was struggling to keep her breath even, not wanting to be on the Shb, but not necessarily wanting to get out either.
Luke-
Luke stood extremely slowly as his alarm went off and he looked at the tracker lying on his dresser. He sighed and yelped as he pushed the tracker on his wrist, the needles piercing his skin slowly.
Luke latex back down until snapping back up when the PA sytem sounded. Luke Samson, Please proceed to the meeting room," Luke mocked the voice as he slowly walked through the door and glanced around nervously, trying not to let it show.

Ash awkwardly watched on in silence glad she hadn't kept walking and tripped over the girl, Ash sighed, knowing her mother would encourage her to make a friend, Ash offered the girl a hand to help her up, offering the smallest of smiles.
Luke-
Luke watched the entire event, choking back laughter at the ironicness but settled for a stifled chuckled and continued walking through the halls with a grin, barely glancing back as Ash heard the chuckle and gazed at him as he left, confused.

Ash had watched the two through the halls, eventually catching up with the girl, "Are you alright?" She asked softly, her voice quieter as she absent minded lay fingered the locket as they walked through the corridors. Glancing back to see the boy following.
Ash suddenly wondered if they too were going down with her, and deciding to make a single friend for comfort. "What is your name?" She asked and matched her pace with the girls.
Luke meanwhile was jogging ahead, deciding to get there early to adjust and give himself a pep talk.

Luke smiled, "Hey, your the one that chick ran into right?" He asked gesturing to Amie curiously. He decided he'd better find someone to talk to if he had roughly thirteen hours to wait.
Ash honestly was exhausted and completely thrown out of her comfort zone. She tightened the ponytail in her hair, holding her thick hair out of her eyes after tucking the locket into her shirt and looking at the bracelet annoyed.

Luke stuck out his hand, "The name is Luke, what about you?" He asked curiously, shaking Percy's hand, then pushing his hair out of his eyes, noticing Amie look at them both, "I don't know, she's kinda cute." He shrugged, admiring the way her wild blond her poked out of her bun.

Luke chuckled, "I like them fiesty." He joked, sighing and looking around, his eyes filled with curiosity. Luke looked around. "Where are you headed?" He asked curiously.

Luke burst into laughter, "Whoo, that'd be hot!" He chuckled, smiling widely at Percy, "Dang. That would be a cruel and unusual punishment." He chuckled.

Luke chuckled, "That would almost be worth it." He chuckled. "Shit, they would probably have volunteers."

Luke nodded in agreement and laughed, "Damn, that would be awesome." He chuckled sighing happily, glad he found something to joke about.
((That's fine but Ash could always use someone to pry her open.))

Ash wrung her hands nervously, biting her lip, fiddling with her necklace. Slowly turning the knob and listening to the familiar sound in the corner of the room, waiting patiently.
Luke chuckled and smiled. "Damn, if we survive, I have a feeling we will be good partners in crime."
