Currently Reading? Just Finished? 2015
I finished Finders Keepers by Stephen King. In this second book in the detective Bill Hodges trilogy a violent young criminal becomes obsessed with the books of a reclusive author. Bad things follow. 4 stars. My complete review:

I am now reading The fortune hunter by Daisy Goodwin and so far its deliciously fabulously Victorian ;P
I finished The Well by Catherine Chanter. Ruth and Mark Ardingly buy a farm property called The Well, which mysteriously has water and rainfall while the rest of England dries up. People become resentful, Ruth gets involved with a religious cult, and a death occurs. For me the book was too long and a bit tedious. 2 stars. My complete review:

Ricochet
as an ebook &
The Killing Season
as an audiobook
I'm back-tracking a bit with my Stephen King reading having just finished "Skeleton Crew". Thens it's on to "Needful Things" with some Bram Stoker peppered in between. (Getting ready for the big "holiday"!!)I am also trying to re-introduce myself to Ramsey Campbell by reading his second collection,"The Height of The Scream" but I'm not quite sure about this author just yet, too many false starts, I believe,
Any suggestions at to where a good starting point might be with Mr. Campbell!
I just finished The Necromancer's House by Christopher Buehlman. It was interesting but not my favorite by this author. My review is here. I'm now listening to Ordinary Grace which comes highly recommended by several of my friends.
I finished Death of a Fool by Ngaio Marsh. During a ritual folk dance in the English village of South Mardian one of the participants is mysteriously beheaded. Not one of Ngaio Marsh's best books. 2 stars. My complete review:

I just finished Ordinary Grace, a standalone coming-of-age tale by William Kent Krueger. It was highly recommended to me by several friends and I will in turn do likewise. My review is here. Now it's on to Above the Waterfall
I just finished The Killing Season
I gave it 4 stars story ♫ 4 stars narration.Next audiobook is Career of Evil
Mary wrote: "WOW! I just listened to "Don't Look Now" by Daphne Du Maurier. It's an audio book on youtube read by Peter Capaldi. It's very good."Thanks for sharing this, I'm listening to it now.
Just finished a good mystery which is supposed to be the start of a new series. I won it in the First To Read contest: The Someday File by Jean Heller. Fast and keeps you guessing.
Currently reading Nowhere Girl
which so far is not doing for me what her previous book Humber Boy B
did. But early days yet.
I finished Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter, which is the group read for this month. The book is graphic in its description of violence and torture in snuff pornography, but is well-written and well-plotted. 4 stars. My complete review:

Did you find some good books at the library Shannon?
I'm almost finished with Night Film and wow. Definitely a favorite for this year. I feel I've hit the jackpot as I've finished three 5 star books back to back. So rarely happens for me!

Career of Evil by Robert Galbraith and Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter. (Sorry, on the mobile app and can't do the html)
Today I read something of fast: Seven Brief Lessons on Physics. Interesting, but more descriptive, with little scientific study.
Currently I'm reading Rising Phoenix by Kyle Mills. So far it's been very good. I just finished Saucer: Savage Planet by Stephen Coonts. I really liked it--I gave it four stars.
Three vacation crime reads: The Voices Beyond, by Johan Theorin (Sweden), The Franchise Affair, by Josephine Tey, a very well-written mystery novel with a great plot based on a true story, and Benjamin Black's latest, Even the Dead.
