I have...maybe I should finish the series. Thanks :)

I knew it! Sorry... that is the only one I can think of that is more of a deep romance... kind of :/.

message 103: by Sara (new)

Sara | 101 comments @Macy, what do you mean by deep? And how much do you want romance to be important to the plot? If it doesn't need to be the main plot driver, I suggest Thief of Happy Endings. There's a little romance, but it's a coming of age novel with realistic character development.

Can someone recommend me a GOOD YA summer romance book that I can read in the SUMMER please? Not a book that I've already read and not a book that I've already heard of [Example~Love & Gelato (I've heard that one way too many times)] THANKS! :)

message 105: by Library (new)

Library Queen The first one that comes to mind is Holly Jolly Summer. I actually read it before I saw the reviews, and despite what people are saying about the author, the book itself is not racist. Up to you if you wanna read it, it's very like a Hallmark movie but for teens.

I just read the blurb and the only thing that comes to mind is City of Bones and that's only because of Clary finding out things she didn't know about her mom and how she doesn't even know who her real mom is anymore and so on and so forth

message 124: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie DeMoss (bonniedemoss) | 10 comments I'm new to the group, so I don't know if this has been recommended before. This time of year I start reading Christmas books, and my re-read every year is my favorite Christmas book: The Substitute Guest by Grace Livingston Hill, who wrote romance books in the early 1900s.

I don't think it has! Thanks for recommending!

Cece Whittaker | 2 comments If you like happy endings and 1940s era stories, you might like The Call to Serve, about 4 ladies of varying ages and the men they love and what they go through together. I enjoyed writing it because I love Christmas books myself!

Ooh! That sounds really good! Thanks Cece!

Bonnie DeMoss (bonniedemoss) | 10 comments Here is my review of An Ivy Hill Christmas. It’s part of the “Tales from Ivy Hill” series by Julie Klassen. It is a clean Christmas romance set mostly in the charming town of Ivy Hill in the 1820s. There is also a Christian theme of redemption and forgiveness. There are three books that precede it in the series, but I did not have any trouble following it at all. I plan to go back and read the other three books.

Olivia Hey guys! I was just wondering if I should read Pivot Point by Kasie West since I liked her other books (Listen To Your Heart, By Your Side, etc) a lot. Please let me know what you think!

message 133: by Brooke (new)

Brooke | 63 comments I didn’t read Pivot Point but I know my mom did and loved it and she’s read a bunch of other Kasie West books as have I so I would so probably you’d like it

It is really good! BUT wait to read it until you have it's second book Split Second. I still haven't been able to read it because Split Second is more expensive on ebay than my mom likes to spend. I need to check the library now that it is open. But have a great read! It is a wonderful book!

message 141: by Macy (new)

Macy (maggieviolet) | 122 comments I have the same problem! My family has been complaining about the amount of books I keep getting (and not returning lol)

message 142: by Kacie (new)

Kacie i have a hard time reading the books i check out from the library. either they're all duds or i just dont feel like reading those specific onesXD i end up reading ebooks on my phone or one of my books

We don't want to count how many I need to return... I have 13 to read and about 5 I want to re-read, I think I have only returned 2 books since the Library started up again.

message 144: by Kacie (new)

Kacie oh really? lol. I've only been to the library twice since it opened

It is always nice to have a variety of books to choose from. Mine goes through the whole area so I can go anywhere in the area and check out books. You know, like if I go on vacation, and then I can return them to the one I got it at or my local one when I get back!
