The family comes in to eat and the grumpy father hears the barn door thumping against the wind. The protagonist says the shut and locked the door, but they go outside to lock it again. There is something in the barn...I think a winged creature that tries to kill the protagonist and might kill the family. That’s all I really remember. Any help is appreciated!
