ABANDONED. Fantasy/post-apocalyptic, Basically zombies

Ok so i don’t remember a lot, but i read this years ago and it kept bugging me. I randomly found it on apple books and decided to read it. The few things i remember are that the main character is a guy, it’s about zombies i think but it might not be limited to just humans as i remember they were fighting some weird creatures, there was a scene where the guy accidentally saw this one girl showering, and that post-apocalypse the people started using batteries as currency i think. Anyways I know that’s not a lot but thanks in advance to anyone who actually knows this.
