Sorry, Brittany, I didn't see that I was supposed to wait. But don't worry I remember all that happened.
Okay! So for starters, are you liking the book so far? In my personal opinion it’s really good! I like America’s personality and I really like May too! I didn’t think I would like the book that much, but it is so good! I can’t believe Ashley went home😢I don’t really know what to say lol what are your thoughts on Aspen? Going into the book, I was confused on the number thing but I guess that it’s their social status or something. I didn’t think the prince is that bad.....I really HATE the laws that they have! UGH! Why is there a law that you have to sign papers to have sex with someone who isn’t the same number as you?! That’s messed up! Overall, I’m really looking forward to discussing the rest of the book with you!😊 I’ll comment more if I find any questions or something.
Lots of Love ❤️,

How are you like/different than this character?
What do you think will happen next? Why? I literally feel like I’m inside this book! I heard they make a movie out of it soon! I am like this character because sometimes I have a temper and I also like to be sarcastic. I think that America will have some BEEF with the other girls and I think that her and the prince may have some flirty conversations. My thoughts on Aspen is that he is hardworking and charming. But he was kinda a jerk to America. 🙂

I really like the book so far. I don't really like Aspen. He broke America's heart. But at least there is someone else in the picture now. I think that Aspen will ruin the relationship that probably will come with America and the Prince.

PLEASE NOTE THAT Davina accidentally deleted this comment so I am retyping it.
I’ll answer the above questions to the best of my ability. I will answer the first five questions and then Davina will answer them and so on...
Ok, let’s get started!
1. I liked EVERYTHING about this book! The characters, the setting, the plot! Everything was amazing!
2. There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about the book, except for Celeste and Aspen. THEY ARE BOTH JERKS!
3.This kinda reminds me of a mix of Geekerella and Ella Enchanted because they are both fantasy like and princessy too!
4. I liked May the best because she was so giddy and excited for America and I love her personality! She’s also a good sister❤️
5. Probably Celeste and Aspen because Aspen was begging for forgiveness from America and he manipulated her to give in. Celeste because well she’s a giant snitch! THEY ARE BOTH EPIC JERKS AND LOSERS! America doesn’t deserve to have to deal with these type of people.

1. I liked how even though America didn't want to go she still went and she made new friends.
2. What I didn't like about the book was that people were ranked based on their numbers. They couldn't do things because they weren't high enough.
3. I don't really know what book this reminds me of. I don't really read this kind of book. But this was really interesting.
4.I really liked America and Aspen (Not together) and Maxon
5. I really didn't like a bunch of the girls from the Selection but I really don't like Celeste. At some times I don't like Aspen. He is really bad towards America.

6.) Well this book already got turned into a movie, honestly I don't know who I would cast. Lindsay Lohan as America? I don't know...
7.) "No, I’m not choosing him or you. I’m choosing me." This quote stood out to me because YOU GO WOMAN! I think that it was very strong of America to make her own decisions.
8.) I have not read any other books by Kiera Cass, but after reading The Selection, I definitely plan to!
9.) YES! Because I loved this book and I think that her other books will be just as good as this one!!:) Also, she is a very successful author!
10.) This book made me feel excited for America, mad at Aspen for leaving America, and lots of other feelings too.:)

(Davina, you don't have to say yes to this if you don't want to, but would you like to read The Elite with me in June??)
6. I know I didn't try but I can't cast people. I suck at choosing things.
7. My favorite quote was "It's always the fear of looking stupid that stops you from being awesome". Honestly I chose that because its so true.
8. I actually haven't read any books by this author. (I will when I read the next book with Britt)
9. Yes, I would. Because she puts some much thought and work into her books and it definitely shows.
10. I feel so many things. Happy for America, Sad and sometimes happy for Aspen, excited for Maxon etc.

YAY! I agree!
11. I think the length was just perfect, I wouldn't change a thing.
12. Nothing really comes to mind except "Bored" by Billie Eilish and this song would be to Aspen. EXAMPLE: "Giving you what you're begging for, giving you what you say I need."
13. Where did the idea of this book come from? It's so cool!!!
14. All of them! If I have to choose to one...I have no idea.
15. I would most like to visit the palace. It sounds awesome and so fancy! I would explore the inside all day.

11. I think the length was great. I love that the other books are different parts of the challenge.
12. Honestly I don't really know a song that could answer this question.
13.I'd ask her where she got her inspiration from. (I actually write books and I like to get help and information on how to do it better.)
14. I want to meet Maxon. It seems like he doesn't get out much. So I'd be his friend.
15.I'd like to visit America's house. I just want to see things from her perspective.

Well to wrap this up, I'm going to answer the last 6 questions and then Davina will! ;)
16. What do you think of the book’s title? How does it relate to the book’s contents? What other title might you choose?
I think that the book title really suits this book and since it's a series, I don't think the title should be changed. Well this book is all about the Selection, so it really relates to the book. I don't know what i would change the title to.
17. What do you think of the book’s cover? How well does it convey what the book is about? If the book has been published with different covers, which one do you like best?
I LOVE THE BOOK'S COVER!!! I think that it's really unique!! America wears a lot of blue dresses, so...I don't know. I like the original cover the best, but I also like the cover for Odabrana
(The Selection #1)
by Kiera Cass (Goodreads Author)
18. I think the author's purpose was that numbers don't define you. Like just because you're poor or rich doesn't mean you're worse or better than anyone else. You know? Also kinda girl power. America seemed like toward the end of the book she wasn't going to let anyone make her decisions.
19. I think this book was very original.
20. I would choose Maxon. I would really like to know what he was thinking, especially when he first saw America.
21. Of course! I reallY REALLy likeD THIs booK!!!!

!6. I really like the title it makes complete sense. I would change the title if I could.
17. I really like the original cover. It really gives an image on how America looks like.
18. I think the author wanted to show like Britany said numbers don't define you. America was one of the lowest but she is still in the competition.
19. I think the book was original. It was very unique. I can tell its original by those number things. I haven't seen that in any other books I've read.
20. I would choose Maxon or Aspen. ( Aspen is my on and off favorite character)
21. I really loved this book!
