1900s upscale/party/gatsby-esque husband and wife live in a big house and throw a lot of parties. No kids but I think they are trying to conceive. He is abusive. She escapes and years later is trying to find stuff out about him or her and the past at the library. She looks through microfilm and finds info and ends up falling in love with the librarian helping her solve the mystery.
