I did make the goal...but you totally posted this thread in 2015!! (For some of us :P) My faves for 2014
1. Magic Breaks - Ilona Andrews
2. The Walled City - Ryan Graudin
3. Red Queen - Victoria Aveyard
4. The Darkest Part of the Forest - Holly Black
5. That One Summer - CJ Duggan
6. Killer Instinct - Jennifer Lynn Barnes
7. When the Night Comes - Favel Parrett
8. Upside Down - Lia Riley
9. The Silkworm - Robert Galbraith
10. The Name of the Wind - Patrick Rothfuss
There are probably more that I loved, but I think 10 is enough :)
Sure did make my year. And I honestly can't believe I did it. Looking very forward to next years challenge!!!
Sooooo close. The official GoodReads count says I read 101 books. My count on my group thread is 98, but if I'd given all the less-than-novella-length e-books I read their own "entry" I'd be at 104. Anyway, 100 books isn't bad for the busy year I had! Too tired to think/post my favorites at the moment. It's almost midnight (aka way past my bedtime--even for New Year's).
I had upped my 2014 goal to 125 (because I'd passed 2013's goal) and then ended up reading about 100 books. Just going to stick with 104 this year. Some of my favorites last year in no particular order:
An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth
Written in Red
The Vale Girl
I've already got 3 done for 2015, so let's see what happens.
My favorites in 2014 were: 1- If I Stay & Where she went by Gayle Forman
2- Vampire Academy Series by by Richelle Mead
3- Days of Blood and Starlight by Laini Taylor
:)

I really liked If I stay, but I never read the 2nd. I dont know why.
I made it to 118. Totally making my goal to read less this year. Favorites for the 2nd half of the year were:Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore
Bomb: The Race to Build—and Steal—the World's Most Dangerous Weapon Since You've Been Gone
I am sure there more but I can't think of them right now.

Honestly, I liked the first one way more than the 2nd one, but I needed to read the 2nd to see what happened after. I practically couldn't sleep until I read the book LOL. Is not better than the first, but for me is a conclusion to the story; one conclusion I loved by the way :)
