Did the inclusion of a child into Eva and Franklin's stable, loving relationship cause the rift between them? Did the fact of a child threaten their marriage? How was Kevin perceived as a threat by Eva from conception? What expectations did Eva have of motherhood and how did she meet the reality of it? Was Franklin unsupportive of Eva?

That's more than one question! :-)1. Yes, Kevin caused the rift. A different baby wouldn't have.
2. The fact of a child didn't threaten the marriage. Franklin's handling of Keven, in particular, did.
3. Eva liked her life as a traveling business owner and preferred it that way.
4. I don't know what her expectations were.
5. Yes, Franklin was horribly unsupportive of Eva.
