Ciara darted in, looking for Caelana. Where are you? she wondered, nervously.
Caelana walked into the fields looking full of rage.
Ciara ran over to her, "What happened?" she asked, concerned.
Caelana took some deep breaths. "Carter... Almost died. Couldn't find his epipen. If it wasnt for Avery he wouldn't be alive right now." She felt tears coming and closed her eyes.
((HA the grace siblings deserve it!))
"Oh gosh," Ciara gives Caelana a tentative side hug, not knowing if she would be okay with that, "The most important thing is that he is alive. How'd he get hurt/trigger his allergic reaction?" she asks, making a mental note to thank Avery if she ever met her. Ciara didn't know what the siblings would do with out each other.
Caelana hugged her back hard. "Bees. And thank you for being here for me." she looked at Ciara gratefully.
"Of course," Ciara say, smiling when Caelana hugged her back, 'do you want to head back to the dorm to see how he's doing or stay out a little longer?"

Caelana bit her lip and thought for a moment. "Can we stay here for a bit? Tell me what's going on with you. How are you doing with your friends here? I really like Emily but haven't met the other boy yet." She sat back.
"Sure," Ciara said, and then sat down next to Caelana. "I think they're good, for the most part. It's an adjustment since they aren't really used to their abilities yet, they recently became immortal. Emily likes you a lot too, she mentioned you recently. Jackson is probably busy doing whatever, I haven't seen him since I introduced him so I'm assuming he is settling and working. He works at the ice cream parlor."
Caelana looked up suprised. "I work there too! Maybe I'll see him there sometime." She smiled at hearing Ciara talking about Emily saying that she liked her. It must be nice to have close friends with you. " she said with a slightly sad look on her face.
"Oh cool! You will almost definitely see him then." Ciara says with a smile, "it's both a blessing and a curse. They know me inside and out, since we grew up together. I love them like my siblings and can count on them to have my back but have this insane sibling bond that I could never measure up to. They have been my family before you guys and my family just expanded and got stronger after meeting you all. Emily makes friends wherever she goes but she mentioned you which she only does if she really wants to pursue a strong friendship with them.
Caelana's face turned into a rare dazzling grin. "I was lucky to find you and Dia as my dormmates because if I hadn't I wouldn't have so many great friends." she didn't really know how to put it into words but she wished that she could tell Ciara how grateful she was that she was her friend and was there for her. So she just smiled and hugged her again. "I have to go to the ice cream parlor cause my shift is about to start but Ara if you ever need anything just know that I'm here just like you were here for me today. And I'm going to talk to Carter and work things out I was just mad I think because I was afraid of losing him. " She waved goodbye and stepped into the shadows disappearing
Ciara was still smiling even after Caelana left. She started back towards the dorm texting Emily and Jackson to see where they were.

Ciara's phone flashed with Jackson and Emily's names. She ignored the call, taking in the night air.
Jackson walked into the fields with Lexi. he couldn't keep the grin off of his face. ((What time is it?))

"Nothing," Jackson said looking back at her, "I just like being outside,"

Lexi raised an eyebrow but shrugged it off. Lexi breathed in the air, the wind blowing though her hair delicatly. She would enjoy it more if it werent so hot.((gnite! Sorry.))

Jackson walked farther out into the fields, the wind ruffling his brown hair and his blue-green eyes sparkling.

Lexi noticed his eye color. "Interesting" she mumbled. "And pretty." Hers was only a boring brown with a light ring of golden flecks swirling around it.
Jackson caught the end of her mumbling, "pretty?" he asked her aloud, a teasing smile on his face, "what's pretty?"
"Oh, um, it doesnt matter." Lexi blushed. She turned away, hopefully in time.
Jackson caught the beginnings of her blush as she turned away, he smiled. "C'mon Lexi, you can tell me." he said, the smile still on his face, "it can't be that bad."
She got on her horse and rode around the perimeter of all the fields, collectively. She hadn't seen Chrystal around in quite a while
"It doesnt matter." Lexi calmed her features back to neutral and faced him again. "It isnt funny!" She crossed her arms.
Jackson laughed at her expression. “Whatever you say Lexi,” he said shooting her a grin.
Lexi pretended to pout. She gave a huff of surrender. "Fine. I just thought your eyes were pretty." She looked down.
“Oh,” Jackson studied her. Should I grab her hand? he wondered. He decided to do it, kind of. Jackson brushed his hand against hers, giving her the chance to hold his hand or not if she didn’t want to.
Lexi felt his fingertips brush against hers. She wasnt sure if it was an accident. If it was, and she tried to grab his hand, she knew she would probably scare him off. Lexi decided to play it safe and tucked her hands into her jean loops.
So she didn’t want to hold my hand. Maybe I wasn’t obvious enough? he thought, disappointedly. “So...” he repeated with a smile.
"What wrong?" She noticed his disappointed look just before the smile.
“Nothing,” he said, flashing her what he hoped was an assuring smile.
Lexi decided to ignore it. She started walking again, lost in thought.
Jackson followed her. I'm probably overthinking the whole situation. he thought, I'm hoping it was just because I wasn't obvious enough. I'll maybe try again later, we'll see. He hardly knew Lexi so maybe it was for the better. He stopped his mind banter and appreciated the moment. Jackson felt the wind run through his hair and the sun on his face, he smiled.
Lexi had a peaceful look on her face. So far, everything has been good. Hazel got a vacay to Italy, Chase seemed to be doing fine, and she-well she wasnt sure. Jackson seemed nice enough and good looking.
But she knew she had to be careful. This was a guy she barely knew.
Best to play it safe.
Jackson watched Lexi, who seemed deep in her own world. He noticed they had reached the end of the fields and it was growing dark. "Do you want to do one last thing before heading back to the dorms?" he asked her.
"Sure." Lexi yawned. "On second thought, im pretty tired. Can I crash at your dorm? I would go to mine but we still have boxes here and there." Lexi started walking back.
"Yeah of course," Jackson said, walking next to her, "I'm not sure if Carter and/or Chase will be there though."
Amelia rode on Cyclone, her horse. No one else seemed to be around and she wasn't supposed to meet up with Chris for a while
