Tori | 4 comments - Likely I would have read this book prior to 2006
- To the best of my memory, it tells the story of how each knight joined the round table, including Lancelot, Galahad, Gawain, Hector, Percival, Pellinor, Tristan, and a few others. I think the focus is more on the knights themselves than King Arthur
- Mordred was depicted as the son of Morgana le Fey, but I don’t remember Merlin being a prominent character. Mordred joined the court as some point, but then he became a villain
- Definitely a children’s or YA book, but not many pictures. A regular text novel, and I think it was a single (slim?) book, not a series
- The story about Lancelot included how he was the son of the Lady of the Lake
- Not an adaptation of King Arthur or a modern retelling, it was a historical setting with the actual characters
