Woot! I have finished with days to spare! Days!!! (3 days is more than one, so days.) Thanks for the picks, everyone. Some were fantastic, and some were...awful. But I got books off my never ending TBR, and that's all that really matters to me.

Mary-Megan: Kitty and the Midnight Hour - 3.5 stars. I thought that this was an interesting take on the supernatural.

Connie: What Mattered Most - 3 stars. Somewhere along the way, I got the impression that this was romantic suspense, which it definitely is not. This was all right, and I definitely liked the switch between the h and the H when it came to their baby.

Becca: Return to Me 3.5 stars. I'm not sure that this author is for me. The writing is solid, and the action is present. I don't think I connect completely with the characters, though.

Tpagirl loves romance: Ready to Fall -3 stars. Solid romance, with the singular POV from the male character. It felt mostly authentic, and the romance built slowly between the two main characters.

Nadine: Stray Home - 1 star. Simplistic writing, adults acting like children, and 1st person POV in present tense that made me dictate an entire rant about it to my phone.

Hazel: The Genius and the Muse - 4 stars. I read this after I had DNF'd quite a few books and 1 starred a few others. It was past tense (thank goodness!!), well written and a unique story, with flashbacks to a second couple's romance.

Robyn: Deadly Love - 3 stars. Francesca was spoiled with no real idea of how anyone not in her parents' tax bracket lived, but sure had ideas on how to fix them. A little naive, a little TSTL, and very prone to jumping to conclusions. Still, it felt like an accurate representation of the time period...for the rich.

Mindy: Warrior's Woman - 3.5 stars. This wasn't my favourite by Lindsey, but was still pretty good. I think that my biggest issue was how jarring it was to go from all that technology to barely any without actually time travelling.

Karen H: Stormwalker - 3.5 stars. Nice start to a series. Enough explanation to find out what was going on, but not enough to overwhelm the story.

MKat: Archangel's Kiss - 4.5 stars. Was there this much sex in the first book? I mean, I'm all for sexy times, but it seemed to relegate the story to the back burner a lot of times. Hush! They're getting it on! Everything must stop and wait for them to finish!

Gabriella: Slick as Ides -1 star. You know how most people have to gawk at accidents when they drive by? Yeah. I couldn't look away from this train wreck. Implausible plot, ridiculous characters, awful writing.

Kai: Between a Rock and a Hot Mess - 4 stars. Well written, although I thought that the h clung to the "ideal" man a lot too long, especially when the "perfect for her" man was right in front of her.

Wealie: A Princess in Theory - 4 stars. Lol. Maybe we shouldn't delete those "prince" scam emails. I liked this book until we got over to the H's country. Then it took way too long for anyone to figure out what was going on. And, oh, boy. Those grudges were LOOONNNGGGG lasting.

Melissa: A Promise of Fire - 5 stars. Loved. Loved, loved, loved. World building, characters, story were all top notch. Warning: it is 1st person present tense, but I read it a day after my "Stray Home" rant, and going "Oh, no. Present tense. This is gonna be interesting!" after reading the first sentence, I promptly forgot that it was actually written in present tense.

Susan: From Lukov with Love - 5 stars. Zapata's books seem to all be slow burn, with real character growth, and characters who could be real people.

Shelby: Dragon Magic - 3.5 stars. Enh. Didn't really care about the characters, but the story itself was interesting.

Cyndee: Fading - 3.5 stars. I don't usually read the reviews before I read a book, and I wish that I hadn't for this one. I'm not sure if I was influenced by them, or if I actually had all my own emotions. I found the h to be a little immature for her age. 1st person POV, present tense. Sexual assault description.

Grace: Must Fit the List - 2 stars. I actually agreed with a lot of the h's requirements for a potential true love, I just didn't like her reasons for the requirements. She came across as a very delicate, high maintenance princess. Also, I get really irritated with authors who write romance books making their characters have irrational expectations of romance because they read romance books. It comes across as condescending to romance readers, as if they aren't educated readers who actually know what the real world is like.

Raluca: The Wolf and the Sparrow - 3 stars. I was reading along, thinking that I had found a new author I could really like, and then the story just...petered out. It was like the author just phoned it in for the last half of the story, and the characters became less solid.
