Susan | 1 comments I have read most of the Joanne Fluke books, which is along the same food genre fiction line. While I enjoyed Joanne Fluke's books, and also the enclosed recipes, I felt Carly Ellen Kramer's book, How to Bake a Chocolate Souffle, had a more in-depth plot line. The first chapter makes you wonder where the story is heading. By the second chapter, you have a sense of the characters and where they are headed in life and into the story. By the third chapter, you have your favorites, and you find yourself hoping for their success. You may even feel yourself relating to one of these women.
I enjoy a good fiction book - no charts, graphs, data, statistics, just good easy reading. This is that kind of book. The added recipes from Crowded Earth Kitchen are also a nice bonus!
