SOLVED. Romance with abused heroine who falls in love with her abuser's brother. [s]

I read a book a while back about a girl who was in a relationship with a man who was severely abusive. Her best friend and co-worker was her boyfriend's brother and the one she has been in love with the entire time. He's also in love with her but stays back because he thinks that she's happy with his brother. I can't remember the name of the book but I remember one or two characters being British as well I think ( I may be wrong here though).
Please help me find this book. I'm desperately wanting to read it again.

There is a part in the book where she gets her hair completely chopped off by her abuser. There is also a scene where she and her best friend (the love interest) goes to Paris or somewhere in France for a work trip and that's when she tells him about the abuse and they confess their love for one another.
