Out of Order?

I noticed a lot of people are planning to read in the order the books appear on the list, but is anyone else reading whatever category strikes their fancy? I actually was going to go with a book more than 100 years old, then probably a memoir, etc.

A lot of people are doing them out of order or skipping a few weeks at a time. I would prefer everyone to do them in order (it helps with participation and discussion), but it's up to each individual member! I will be posting announcements, however, based on the challenge's current week.

Hmm okay I will definitely try to read them in order then. I actually just found a book for week 1 that has me going, "Oooh! :D"

What did you find for Week 1, Erika?

I was originally looking at After Midnight by Santino Hassell, since it was tagged as more than 500 pages on here, but when I plugged it into Google Play Books it was actually just over 250 pages. I'm still gonna read it, probably try to incorporate it into a different week. I'm going to use Wildwood by Colin Meloy
