Chris, are you the only one who is reading this book? I had to skip this one, and will be back to read it. I am on something else for a minute. Had to change for a second on the last book, but I'll be right around the corner.....

Chris | 732 comments I have no idea. Took about 30 days to find on kindle now I have 3 copies of it. I wanted to read last months but that never showed up on kindle even though I downloaded it a million times LOL

Chris | 732 comments Well I just love twists in stories. Love to see how this one plays into the plot of it.

Amzette I recall downloading this book, The Meat Hunter, from the publisher but I can’t find it anywhere! Could it be because my phone malfunctioned a couple weeks ago and there were some things that only reset since 2017? I haven’t noticed that with my books though. Any idea where it might be hiding on my phone? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔

Jimmie | 302 comments Amzette, your ebook of The Meat Hunter should be saved in your Kindle or Nook account as well as on your app. You can download the book to your phone, but the digital copy should be on your Kindle or Nook account. My suggestion is to log into your Kindle or Nook account from a web browser. Your copy of The Meat Hunter should be in your library.

Chris | 732 comments Last month's book I haven't found yet and I downloaded it directly on my kindle. Till this day it haven't found it. The Meat Hunter took forever to come over so now i have 3 of them on my Kindle. Unless I get the book directly from Amazon or B&N it seems that it take takes forever. It is even taking time for them forever to come over through Book Funnel and I never had that problem. I even took a bunch of stuff off my kindle bc thinking it was over loaded.

I had someone send me a book, and I was to have read it, but the book shows up on my nook, but its just the cover, so I reached out to Netgalley, but they couldn't help either, so I just gave up. Maybe as the time of the book being on the book shelf for purchase, hopefully the company will send us a few free ones.

Jimmie | 302 comments I’m at the 33% completion point of The Meat Hunter. This is one wild boar of a book. Seriously, I have not read a book like this before. I will continue to my next stopping point.

I'm 50% through it. Thinking of becoming a vegetarian NOT. Have you met Grimm yet. Nice name huh.

I am so glad you liked this book Jimmie, I value your book-friendship. I am going to read this one in a few months, heck I have up to 11 months right? (smile) Glad you enjoyed it, and yes I read your review, Very good one.

Chris | 732 comments I finished the book and yes there are some disturbing scenes in it but all in all a good book.

Jimmie | 302 comments Chris, I’m glad you finished the book.

What did you think of the ending!!!!!

message 26: by David (new)

David (sheikl) I also finished the book, and reviewed it as well. There are many reasons to dislike this book, and many readers did just that, but I liked it anyway!! Would this ending really happen in real life???? I suppose I hope not.

message 27: by Jimmie (new)

Jimmie | 302 comments I agree with the questionable ending. But I felt the ending coincided with the path this book took. A bad guy paid the price for his bad deeds, but justice was not served the the instigator in the book.

I posted in my review this was unlike any book I have ever read. I’m glad I took a chance and read a book that is not necessarily in my wheel house. What I liked the most about The Meat Hunter was the crime investigation. Plus, this book allowed me to stop and think of other people’s view on how animals are treated. I still will remain a meat eater, but I respect others’ views on the meat industry.

Chris | 732 comments She would of been a lot worse if she seen slauterhouses when she was young that's a vision and smell that never leaves you.
