Mariab | 3059 comments Each series has an assigned point value based on the number of books in the series. In addition, 5 points will be awarded for every book started and finished in the level.

Trilogy = 30 pts base
Four book series = 40 pts
Five book series = 50 pts
Six book series = 60 pts
Seven book series = 70 pts
Eight book series = 80 pts
Nine book series = 90 pts
Ten or more book series = 100 pts

When you start the next level, you start at zero points. You may not carry points over. It's as if you are starting the challenge for level one, with a bunch of unfinished series.

If you don't want to read a series back to back, you can alternate books from more than one series. I have something like 30 series on the go, and I do like to space them out. You will get 5 points for every book started and finished within a level, as long as it belongs to a series you are reading. You need two things to complete a level - at least one finished series and 100 points.

I will begin with
Theft of Swords
And we shall see from there

jaxnsmom | 8341 comments I know you were hesitant to try this challenge, so I'm very glad to see you here! I love the planning - I just don't follow through most times. I am more of a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants person. I'm going to try and list a few series I want to continue and some I want to start, but that will be more of a list of possibilities.

The challenges are more about fun - hence the popularity of the glue stick :D Finishing might be the goal, and we're ready to cheer you on, but no one minds if you don't make it.

You've picked a great book to start with. If you're like me (and a lot of others) you won't be able to stop at just the first one!

Cherie (crobins0) | 21536 comments Everyone seems to be reading that series and I don't even have it listed. I am starting to feel the pressure to add it. :0)
