Girl and her brother are placed in cryo-stasis on earth. When the girl wakes it is the future. There are no clearly delineated races. I think everything is in Japanese or Chinese. She may have been sick at the time of stasis?? She tries to find her brother and in doing so alerts the government who are also looking for her brother. She finds information that he is in space. She tries to sneak onto a spaceship. An alien helps her onto the spaceship. He is able to read minds and knows she is from the past. Something is wrong with genetics so the government tries to capture her. Her brother ends up having been awakened earlier and is high rank in a rebellion.
